International Language School promotes artistic expression in English
The diligent students of the Class “Beginners” at the International Language School have dramatised the Irish legend “Giant’s Causeway”.
The giant McCool (or Fionn Mac Cumhaill) – Irish – and the giant Angus (or Benandonner, according to other versions of the story) – Scottish —, always rivals, fight for supremacy on a stone walkway that connects the two coasts, built by Finn himself.
Once the quarrel was over, hexagonal basaltic columns on both sides and a gigantic, petrified boot remained.
The representation allowed the students to approach the traditions of the Anglo-Saxon countries, imagining discovering them as visitors and performing the story in the local language.
